Atlas seeks a place high up the hierarchy of chairs. It clings clearly to Lammhults’s restrained idiom. It stands there naked with all its elements revealed; a self-explanatory underframe, a simple line to sit on and a second that wraps around your back and serves as armrest. But thanks to its upholstery and the complexity of its seat design the chair is surprisingly comfortable. It shapes itself to fit your body. Like sitting in a snowdrift.
